LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Corin A. Quarles, 37, of Buffalo, was charged with second degree criminal contempt. Officers stopped a vehicle at 5:05 p.m. Sunday on East Fairmount Avenue for a vehicle violation and learned there was an active protective order between the driver and a front passenger identified as Quarles. Quarles was ticketed to appear in court later.
¯ William D. White, 52, of Jamestown, has been charged with petty larceny. Officers were called at 5:49 p.m. Thursday to Walmart to a reported shoplifting incident and identified White as the suspect. An investigation revealed he had an active warrant from the Jamestown Police Department. White was charged with petty larceny and turned over to the Jamestown Police Department.

¯ WESTFIELD – Meaghan A. McBride, 31, of Jamestown, has been charged with false identity. Nichodemious N. Tuttle, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with third degree criminal possession of stolen property, third degree aggravated operation and unlicensed operator. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 6.08pm on Sunday in the town of Westfield believed to have been stolen from Jamestown. The driver was identified as Tuttle while the passenger allegedly gave a false name but was later identified as McBride. Both were given tickets to appear in court at Westfield Town later.

¯ Amanda Darling, 26, of no address given, was charged with operating a motor vehicle using a cell phone, operating without insurance, not using designated lane, leaving the scene of a bodily injury and of having driven without a licence. Officers observed a Jeep Patriot at 6:36 p.m. Wednesday on Allen Street with heavy damage to the front passenger side. The vehicle was stopped on Allen and King streets. An investigation revealed that Darling was trying to retrieve a dropped cell phone. As a result, the Jeep struck a car parked on Maple Street. Darling left the stage without stopping. Two underage occupants were also found to have suffered minor injuries. Darling was arrested on an active warrant. She was detained pending her appearance.
¯ Carlos E. Rivera, 22, of Jamestown, has been charged with second and third degree felony possession of a weapon and aggravated driving without a license of a motor vehicle. Alejandro Ayala, 24, of Jamestown, has been charged with second and third degree criminal possession of a weapon endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of second degree threatening. Abel Figueroa, 20, of Jamestown, has been charged with second and third degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police were notified of a threatening incident involving a gun on Grandin Street on the west side of the city on Sunday. Police have been told a gun was pointed at someone in a vehicle last seen in the city centre. The vehicle was found at West Sixth and Cherry streets and a loaded revolver was later found inside. Rivera, Ayala and Figueroa were all arrested and transported to Jamestown Jail.
