Here is the latest “Jeopardy! From Alex Trebek. the episodes will be broadcast
Fans of the end Alex Trebek will always be able to watch the beloved host on “Danger!” in the first days of 2021. Trebek died at the age of 80 on November 8 after revealing in early 2019 that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since taking on the role of host in 1984, Trebek has grown into a television institution, skillfully blending an air of intelligence with a dry sense of humor.
Trebek recorded his latest “Jeopardy!” episodes on October 29, according to Variety. It was originally announced that the pre-recorded show in which Trebek made his last appearance would air on Christmas Day. But as a statement on the “Jeopardy! The website announced, the schedule for Trebek’s final episodes has been changed, “to give his millions of fans a chance to see his final appearances.”
The updated schedule features “Around the World With Alex,” as the show calls for two-week rehearsals, which began on December 21 and run through January 1.
The post on the website notes: “Alex used to say he had three favorite types of categories: ‘Movies, Geography, and Geography Movies’. But as the saying goes, jokes are usually just “the truth wrapped in a smile”.
Alex has been interested in the peoples, cultures and languages of the world his whole life, and he has been the driving force in many categories that we share over the next two weeks. “History is the past,” he once said. “Geography is the future. “
The final episodes of Trebek will air the week of January 4, 2021, which means his last appearance as a host will be on the show that airs on Friday, January 8, 2021.
While no official replacement for Trebek has yet been announced, a series of guest hosts are scheduled to replace him. The first week of guest-hosted shows will air the week of January 11. “Danger!” resumption of production of new episodes on November 30, with Ken Jennings as the first acting guest host. In early 2020, Jennings won the title of “greatest of all time” in a special edition of the prime-time show. Additional hosts are expected to be announced shortly.
