Swedish electric vehicle charging company Charge Amps raises $ 15 million, Auto News, ET Auto
STOCKHOLM: Swedish manufacturer of charging solutions for electric vehicles, Charging amps, said on Friday that it had raised 130 million crowns ($ 15.3 million) in a roundtable led by Swedbank Robur, before a Initial Public Offering Next year.
Charge Amps, which develops smart charging stations, cables and cloud software, said Swedbank Robur had also bought shares worth SEK 20 million, bringing its total investment in the company to 150 million.
The company will use the funding to expand into key European markets, including the Nordic countries and the UK, for R&D, and to prepare for an IPO, which is slated for next year.
Founded in 2012, Charge Amps said it expected sales of 250 million crowns this year and has more than doubled its year-over-year growth since 2018.
